Overuse
In large amounts, and especially over extended periods of time, caffeine can lead to a condition known as caffeinism.[73][74] Caffeinism usually combines caffeine dependency with a wide range of unpleasant physical and mental conditions
"Caffeine is a drug that can affect our central nervous system and affect some pretty important areas of our lives," says American University caffeine researcher Laura Juliano.
I think I should switch to tea for a while...
Tea offers a much gentler lift. A cup generally contains from 30 to 90 milligrams of caffeine, depending on the variety and how long the bag is steeped. Sodas typically have the least caffeine. A 12-ounce Diet Pepsi, for example, has 36 milligrams.
The general consensus is that you should have less than 100 milligrams of caffeine a day. If it's over that amount, things can get shitty. Also, espresso usually has less milligrams of caffeine than drip coffee.
Time to finish my venti iced coffee! damn.
