I've had a headache all day.
Is it because I haven't drank coffee today?
lame...
In other news, we're going to Cali this weekend. Cannot wait. Gonna rent a little van, pack it up with shit, and head out! Stoked! Time to start slowly moving shit back. Joe's been feeling a little sick, and I've been trying not to catch it... so hopefully we'll be all better by the time we leave! *cross fingers*
We've decided to go to Austin for our upcoming 4 year anniversary. We were going to go to San Diego, but then decided, fuck it, let's bring our bikes to Austin and chill somewhere we've never been before. Gonna stop by Lance Armstrongs bike shop, called Mellow Johnny's, and we tried to get some Morrissey tickets, but shit is sold out. They have a few tickets left, but nothing that is together, so hopefully we can go there and scalp some tickets. We'll see. Whatever happens, I'll just be glad to be biking and relaxing with Joe. Can't wait.

Dunkin D's
So Magic just ended. and I am relieved! It's cool the first day and a half, and from there on out, you get more tired, and start to feel sick, and just want to stay in bed and watch house all day. There were a bunch of kids on bikes from out of town that stopped by the shop, which was cool. Always nice meeting new faces.
My day did not start out right. Don't you hate that? Went to Dunkin Donuts, and the guy took my order at the reg and turned his back to go make it. I wasn't done ordering, but I guess he thought I was. Never asked "is that all for you" etc. So he comes back, reads me my total, and I'm like "can I also get...." he then proceeds to say some shit like "well you should have ordered that at the same time", but in a lower voice, as if I can't hear him or some shit. Then he goes back to make my order, and starts telling his co-worker how he has to "go back to make another thing cause this customer didn't order all at once"... at that point, I almost walked out. He comes back, and is obviously just one of those people that suck at life. He packed my order in 3 separate brown paper bags, and I combined some of it to save a bag, and mentioned it as I was walking away. He smashes the bag and throws it in the trash. I wanted to sock him in the face. I felt like I was in a Dane Cook skit! On my way home, I was pulling out of a parking space, and some motherfucker is going like 45 mph and almost crashes right into me. I go home and eat my bagel, thinking the whole time this fool has done something to it, and then take a nap. When I wake up, there is dog shit, piss and possibly vomit on the kitchen floor. Thanks Tito and Apollo!
When I get to the shop, Joe made me feel a lot better. He always does.
Watched the time trials of the Tour of California this morning, and it was super dope watching those guys really push themselves. Really inspiring and I just want to get out there and ride! Did I mention that I bought a new road bike? It's a Litespeed, titanium 55. Carbon Forks, carbon wheels, shit is DOPE! I rode it the other night with joe on our way to eat some sushi. Such a different ride, and I am in love. can't wait to do a long ride.

Wet Pavement

Had my tattoo touched up, and added our chandelier to the left side of the telephone pole! Now I'm just taking care of it and waiting for it to get better. Pretty stoked on it though, it's starting to come together more and look really good. Pretty sure I want to take it down to my elbow, but not 100% sure about that commitment yet.Today it rained almost the whole day. It's always so nice to have a change of weather, it feels like a change of scenery even though it's the same.
Been trying to save up for a good road bike... so expensive!! I've called a bunch of BMC dealers, trying to find a complete for sale, but most of them are only selling the frame and fork. As soon as I get a road bike, I'll be able to sign up for much longer distance rides, like aids lifecycle, and other fund raising rides as well. Still have to save money though... Crazy how much you can spend on a bike!
Just installed google latitude today, and now I feel like a stalker. Basically, its a program that corresponds with google maps, so you have gps, and when you add your friends, you can see exactly where they are. This application will definitely make or more than likely break a lot of relationships! haha. So crazy though, and creepy. But it's neat to see google come out with these apps.
Time to close shop!~

Bikes and Friends

Is the thing we look forward to the most in Vegas. Saturday's brunch and sundays breakfast have been our recent savior. It's not always great getting up early, but it's always amazing to have a good meal with friends and ride your bike and hang out afterward. Definitely a tradition that we are trying to keep up and encourage others to join.
Olivia was in town for a few days, her car broke down in Flagstaff, and she had to be towed to Phoenix, and ended up having to get a new car. She got a black VW Rabbit GTI, which looks badass! In the end, I think it was a blessing in disguise, and I don't think she'll have to worry about her car breaking down on her for a long, long time. She's living in LA now, and I'm pretty stoked that she's finally on the west coast, so I can see her more often.
Got my tattoo touched up on Monday, and I thought that it was just going to be a few lines redone (I have a topographic map) but Shane decided to re-tattoo my whole arm. Not as much pain as the first time, but I still have to baby it and wash and clean it every 3-4 hours. It looks great. I also decided last minute to add our chandelier to the left side of my arm, pretty crazy. I'll take a good picture when it's done.. I still want to extend it a bit, lately I've been thinking about a sea urchin on my elbow! With all it's spikes. We'll see what I come up with.
We're also plotting our move back to Cali. Really have to sit down and write out a timeline for everything, and see what we're looking at. I'm trying not to get too hyped up on it, incase it takes longer than expected, but it's really hard not to, when I'm so depressed here and just want to leave sometimes. Just gotta take it one day at a time.
Valentines day is coming up, and we're having 40% off all of our clothes, brunch in the morning, possibly bbqing, a spelling bee, and green valley critical mass is afterwards. Should be a pretty fun day. It'll be nice to just hang out all day with friends and have some brews.
